Whole lotta labia.
[how ya feelin'? |nervousnervous]

ST's interview this morning went very well. He said they talked the whole time and had lots of questions and that he was able to ask questions of them and.. he seems really up about it. There might have a been a couple of small stumbling points but he recovered from them really well. They finished by saying that they needed to contact Human Resources for the county and tell them the school's wishes and that if Human Resources was ok with that he'd be hearing from them in the next week or two. That's a lot of time to sit around with our fingers crossed. It's understandable though, as the HR person for the High Schools in the county is working on curriculum building for the next week. But I'm incredibly nervous still and trying not to dwell on how nice it would be to go into Pennsic with this situation settled. I know I'm fretting pointlessly, but I'm still fretting.

ST's going to go home and write a nice "thank you" note to the principal and drop a line to the HR lady (with whom he has been in contact and who pointed ST in this direction in the first place) to say "Thanks for the pointer, just had a good interview with Principal X and I know I wouldn't have gotten that without your help. I understand that HR is the next step in the process so hopefully you'll be hearing from them soon." I'm just hoping she goes "Oh thank God, something I can cross off my list, let me take 5 minutes and call Principal X," but that's too much to hope for.

So. Distract me.

Chellies, I got your voicemail last night and it made me ache right *here* in my heart. I miss you so much. And of course there will be wee Melly-spawn for you to bounce up and down. There's no replacing the monkeh, of course, but perhaps a gibbon or two.

He teaches English and the associated English classes (creative writing, communications, etc.) and he's taught at all middle school and high school levels. This position he just interviewed for is for a 9th grade teacher but his most recent position had him teaching 9-12.

Continental has tickets from $151, United from $164, Southwest has them from $138 (at least for the weekend before they're that much, SW isn't taking reservations for the 29th yet, only through the 27th)

Also? WOOT! Walking cute baby! That means those adorable thighs are in full motion. :)

Mick? I totally did an aerobics workoutin 6" heels Wednesday night. Now I know why Tina Turner's legs look like that.

Seriously? In those wicked cool shoes Cait gave you? My god! *beams at you admiringly*

So remind me next week to check out SW again mmmkay? Cause they have the cheap seats and the driving is too much for the Mika. A drive there isn't so bad, it's the RETURN trip, where the baby is cranky and the mommy is tired which sucketh. *le sigh*

So I have to move before Pennsic, AGAIN!!!
Whyfor does this happen to me? Hopefully this will be the last for a while. Also, our new house has a door in in the basement, which will make packing cars so much easier!

Jamie has way more garb for pennsic now than I do. At least hers fits. I refuse to make new stuff though as I won't be able to wear it next year. *shakes fist*

Cait didn't give me those shoes, she gave them to Mym. I can't wear those shoes, they're too tall. No, I actually bought shoes that the studio sells. They've got a gel pad in the shoe for keeping your feetses from hurting, sturdier ankle straps, flared heels and non-skid padding on everything that touches the floor. They were the perfect thing and so I just went ahead and bought them. They gave me a much greater range of motion. THere are some balance quirks that come from having the toe curved upwards at the front but I conquered those pretty quickly and not the hard way (go me!)

I got a call from Jasquesa's security guy this morning.. I'm so proud of her. :)

Ok so they're functional, but are they cute? Couldn't resist :) I'd really like to see these shoes. Damn it! I want a class near me. Perhaps I'll start with a belly dancing class. Hmm...
