Whole lotta labia.
[how ya feelin'? |cheerfulcheerful]

Today it's all multimedia all the time:

First, for just oushi: I know you're working with more of a large garden than a small farm, but I listened to this program on Tuesday night on the way home from bellydance class and it struck me that you might be interested. There are some bits about the organic farming mindset, sustainable existence, and the power of women in agriculture. Anyway. Even if it's not 100% applicable to your specific green thumb, I'm hoping you still find bits of it interesting. :) "A World of Possibilities: Women in Farming"

Last night ST and I watched For Your Consideration which was, in my opinion, the bottom of the Christopher Guest barrel. Still amazing when taken in context against other movies, but nowhere near the quality of Best in Show or A Mighty Wind. The amusing standout was the "Wake Up LA!" weathergirl and her monkey. What made it worth watching was the 15 minutes she has all on her own in the bonus features. You can hear the writer in the background say "We could do just this for hours." And ST and I would have happily watched it. And, God bless the interwebs, a YouTube search turns up a lovely bunch of videos. Check her out, Nina Conti and Monk. First, A new clip with some existential fun at the end. and then, an old clip where she does the bit with the pint glass.

And finally, if ST and I end up naming the baby after a TV character, y'all keep your mouths shut. :D

Seeing that I plan to name any daughter of mine after a (male) character in a series of books I'm embarrassed to admit I read, naming a child after a TV character seems wise and mature.

"weathergirl". Euw, she'll have to spell it for everyone. Then again, maybe she'll be WEATHERGRRRL, Superhero! (mouth shutting now...;-P

No no.. not that tv character. It's daring and unconventional, but this kid's going to have enough problems. :)
