Whole lotta labia.
[how ya feelin'? |sadsad]

Today is my last work day home with the world's most amazing baby (I could be biased. Possibly.) She loves her daycare lady, it's just them and a six month old for most of the day. I got her there for at least a couple of hours every day this week (except today, we're being selfish today). She's had lots of fun there and gets plenty of attention. I am not worried about how Chloe will do. I? Am a basket case. I'm working hard to keep my eyes on the prize an remind myself that come Monday I'll be able to get back to the gym, better structure my eating, etc. Not to mention getting to catch up with you gorgeous people again.

But for today? I'm going to spend most of the day smelling her neck and feeling slightly sorry for myself.

Hi.

and big gigantic squooshy hugs.

If I ran the world? All mommies who wanted to would be able to work from home until they were really ready to go back to work....

And there would be mashed potatoes at every meal...

The first day is the hardest ever. I was lucky enough to go back on a Wednesday so I had a short first week.

Expect to cry a bit. But it gets easier. Really it does. Believe it or not, but there will be days when you're more than happy to hand her over, for me it's usually Monday.
