The sitter was a total no-call/no-show. So we're on the hunt for another one. Spent some time moping a little bit before I really got down to work, that's why my output tonight wasn't as high as I wanted it to be.

In other news, Pathfinder is really bad. I mean... bad. ST says "Wow, that ship is great, but it's about as period as Legos." And I wondered how many times Clancy Brown has to play the Kurgan before he's done. We washed the bitter taste out with Galaxy Quest which is just as chompy but doing it on purpose.

Tomorrow? cussata!

I'm really sorry Jessica couldn't be there, but in light of the medical emergency, I think we should give her another chance at some point in the future.

Still, it was sweet to be home with you in the quiet watching you sew and enduring the apocalyptic end of Karl Urban's career. I'll take that.

did you ever notice in Galaxy Quest, there's the part when the kid tells the Captain and Gwen they have to enter the chompers. what Sigourney Weaver voice says, is "SCREW THIS!" what she ACTUALLY says, and you can see her lips saying it, is not "screw" this. *grin*

i saw it the first time we watched it and we rewound it to be sure of what i saw. :)

now, we aren't sure if that was intentionally done because it's so damn funny, or whether they dubbed in a lesser word to get a PG-13 rating but didn't bother refilming it because it was too expensive (and it's so damn funny). or maybe they didn't notice the gaffe until it was too late, but left it in anyway because it's so damn funny. or maybe they just NEVER noticed it... which just makes it damn funneh.

We just rewound it to watch that part and man.. that's *really* obvious. And that just made me love it more. :D

i know!! it's too hysterical. i looked it up on IMDB and it says they had to do the overdub to get the lower rating. but i like to think to think they left it that way on purpose. it makes it that much more Double-Extra-Cheesey. *lol*
