Whole lotta labia.
1. Stop talking about politics for a moment or two.

2. Post a reasonably-sized picture in your LJ, NOT under a cut tag, of something pleasant, such as an adorable kitten, or a fluffy white cloud, or a bottle of booze. Something that has NOTHING TO DO WITH POLITICS.

3. Include these instructions, and share the love

When our children marry and take over the world, we'll have a special staff devoted to making us fruity drinks and sending us writing prompts.

Shaenie.. she does this thing.. You have to see it. She'll be hanging out with us on a weekend morning, just chilling in bed having cuddles and tickles and whatnot. And she'll pull her binky out of her mouth and hold it out to Steve. And then she goes "Ahhhh." And Steve opens his mouth and says "Ahhhhh." And she reaches out and shoves the binky in his mouth. Not like a gentle placing it in his mouth, which is what she does to me, but this kind of cramming motion. I watched her, she gets up on her knees and locks her elbow and drives it forward from her shoulder. Dude, she gets leverage and really goes for it. He just keeps going "Ahhhhh," the whole time, but more and more distressed as time goes on. And she keeps it up until she can close his mouth around it.

And then she opens his mouth back up and does it again.

I laughed until I almost wet the bed the first time she did it. I'm going to try to get video tomorrow since he's home for Vote-mas Day.

Steve lurched all over the Mall with her, it was truly adorable. People kept asking if she was bleeding and we kept reassuring them. The moment that got us in the parenting hall of fame was when we saw her rub her eyes and smear the fake blood everywhere and just decided that we thought it looked good. So we left it like that.

And then I fed her a hotdog. Which I'm sure probably has brains in it. Zombie food for the win!

When she started chewing on the fake hand every camera in the place started going off. I felt like some celebrity's bodyguard. These days, more than ever, we're just her ride. :D

I love the bunny costume, I love it even more knowing that I got it for $1. Steve says he's going to work hard so that next year she can go as Yoda in the backpack on Skywalker's back. This will be so awesome.

It's big enough and warm enough that I'm going to let her wear it as a bunting for the rest of the time she can wear it. So you may very well get to see it at Frostburn! Don't miss the zombie lurch pictures too.

Mellies. This photo has EVERYTHING to do with politics, what are you talking about? I'm in love! I've never been so inspired. Our country needs real change! That's why I'm voting 'Babies in Bunny Costumes' for President!

I couldn't resist the bunny costume! The zombie thing was obviously Daddy's idea but I really got into it and we have big plans for next year. Glad you liked it!

You're the cool mom, aren't you? And not the cool mom who acts like the buddy and that all the teachers hate but the actual cool mom who listens and genuinely likes your kid.

Visualize.... dinner... visualize... Columbia or maybe Elicott City or somewhere like that.. visualize a good date and time.. because I would love to catch up and say hi and introduce you to the zombie bunny herself.

This picture was my happy thought yesterday. Cutest bunny evah!

also? my daddy says to tell you that she's gorgeous and he's glad that you put her pictures up on the web for him to see. And apparently, when I next visit, I'm to "hug the stuffing out of that sweet baby." go figure.

Zombie baby? cool! Zombie baby gnawing on a dismembered, bloody hand? \o/!
