In which I wax raphsodic. [Jan. 22nd, 2004|02:44 pm]
Whole lotta labia.
[how ya feelin'? |cheerfulcheerful]

I've been thinking about LiveJournal. I have a small addiction, but I think I'm ok. What it gives me is worth the occasional withdrawl symptoms while in some third-world country. It's been a godsend to my writing.. I write something almost every day now. I may not post it, it may be just a journal entry, but it's out there. Should I so choose, I can post it somewhere and get heroin feedback. I won't even go into the wonderful people.. I wouldn't know where to begin. And I'm finding new people all the time.

Sometimes I read a comment and think "I should friend that person." Sometimes I already know that person. That makes me go all "jigga-wha?!" and then I giggle. In light of that statement, we have a new student today. Let's all say hi to my friend Keith (thewhitedragon).

I've known Keith since I was under-age and hoping my boobs would be enough to get me a beer at the RenFaire because I wasn't old enough to buy my own. He is chivalrous, loyal, kind, charming, and his girlfriend (wife? it's been too long) is the same. I stumbled on him in someone else's comment section this morning and suddenly I was 20 again and sitting in a sun-dappled outdoor pub with the sound of raucous bawdy singing all around me and a cold cider in front of me (with a dead bee floating in it).

Someone get Keith a scotch. Bring out The Macallan.. the 25 year old. He's worth it.

The man is delightful, he really is. Plus, he's got this Dick Clark/Dorian Gray thing where he looks the same now as he did when I was... well.. younger. *cough* Lovely in a tuxedo, capable of wearing a lace cravat without looking like a dork, and fabulous taste in booze.

I am very very lucky in my friends. *hugs you*

(and seriously, shut up about the batteries. ;) you're the one with a corset in there she says as though her corsets don't have thier own drawer)

Been forever. Most of that stuff isn't even accurate anymore. Most of the people are gone (or dusty) and most of the interests are faded. I've been out of that house for almost 4 years.

I should either dust in there or take it down, I know.

It's kind of interesting, being able to take a walk to the past. ::smile:: I like Mexico.
