Whole lotta labia.
The only thing that saved y'all from a drunken post last night was the fact that I was too drunk to figure out how to shut the screensaver off. Count yourselves lucky.

There had been some discussion with a friend of mine at the Monday night dance class regarding having her (and her husband) over for a cookout on Friday night. I never heard from her and Matt and I decided to just go out ourselves and spend some time together. So when my phone rang at 5:30 yesterday and it was D saying "Are you still up for burning a dead animal tonight?" I remembered Matt's disappointed face.. and how much I love grilling food.. and I said "We sure are." So I left Matt a note and went off to augment our food supply and get some beer.

I ended up three cars behind Matt on his way home from work and when he stopped at a 7-11 I pulled in next to him. He was like "What the shit are you doing here?" I said "I'm on my way home from Mt. Airy, grocery shopping... are you still up for cooking if D and G come over?" He smiled and said he was. So the battle plan (he'd get home, call them and confirm, start the grill, and start boiling the ribs... I'd go get red meat, beer, and more charcoal) got settled and we went our seperate ways. It turned out to be a great night.. Matt's knight's wife came over and brought a bunch of leftover wine from Pennsic and I had.. well... WAY too much of it. But I laughed and didn't embarrass myself and it's my damn house. So.. a good night. A really good night.

Himself left at 2:15 this morning to go hunting at his grandmother's place and then off to his best friend's bachelor party tonight. I have the day to myself and I'm going to watch some movies, clean a bit, finish my tassel belt, and go to the bead store. Tonight might be a hafla.. maybe... but will certainly be lots of sleeping.

You guys were chatty last night... how is everyone?

Glad you had a fun night last night Melly. I was worried about you when you left for the day. but I'm like that.

Today I am trying to get my to do list under control. It's not happening, so I'm just going to have to start at the top and work my way down and see where I get to before The Gay Boyfriend shows up tomorrow.

Also, I am pissed off today. I was only down .8 this week. I was really good Melly. I ate lean and clean this week, with the exception of two meals. I counted everything that went in my mouth. I earned a total of 24 AP, but only ate 12 of them. And I still had 13 FP left last night at bedtime. And I still only lost less than a pound. grrrr.

I very nearly bought a Happy Meal at McD's on my way home, but then realized that I would, in fact, be horrified seeing all those points being wasted on junky food that wouldn't even really fill me up, so I didn't.

I did just eat a Lean Cuisine pepperoni pizza to which I added 4 points worth of lowfat mozarella cheese. I'm trying to convince myself that this is adequate rebellion. "FSCK YOU WW! I ate cheese!"

OK, that's enough venting and whining. bye.

Some weeks it's just like that, y'know? Think about this... I'd have given my left arm to have lost .8 pounds this week. :) You're doing stuff that's good for you! You did have a good week, you ate perfectly well, you are doing this the right way and that's a perfectly healthy and respectable loss, you know that.. And think about this.. how's your salt intake been lately? When's your period due? Lots of things could affect this. You know all this. :) I predict a really good week next week and GO YOU! for not having the Happy Meal.. your virtue is looking at my entire bag of popcorn yesterday and sneering. ;)

I know all that, really I do. And thanks for reminding me that I know it :) ... it's just been three weeks of .4, .6, .8, blah blah blah!

I hope next week is a good week. I only need to lose 1.8 lbs to reach my "get to the next 10 lb range" goal and I want it Melly. I want it bad.
