Whole lotta labia.
[how ya feelin'? |curiouscurious]

Dear Naval Dorks,

Which book is it that Jack rescues Stephen from Port Mahon and then we get 12 pages of Bonden fussing over Stephen and Stephen nearly beating him with his cane?

Thank you,
Melly the smut-locked.

It is! Good call. I didn't know you were a fan of the books too. :)

Did you read insidian's recaps of them as she was reading?

She did the first few in a half-hearted "Here's what I'm reading, isn't it funny?" and then when we all climbed all over her for more she did the rest more in-depth and went back and did the first few over again.

I love them. Her anthropomorphic storms make me laugh out lodu.

I don't have my books at work with me, but a quick search and guess and I'm thinkin' check Book 6 'Fortune of War'. Don't smack me if I'm wrong. *braces for impact*

It's actually "HMS Surprise" so you're not off by much.

Speaking of which, I promised you this during the BGB Moot..

That's all of Insidian's O'Brian spam and DAMN it's funny.

Start in the middle with her recap of the first book (which she kinda skimmed in the beginning and then went back and redid once she got all into the spam) and then go in order.

December sounds lovely. Any day after the 8th which is when I get back from my last trip of the year. I'll have earned a break at that point. :)

Just so folks know, some printers call it "The Truelove" and some call it "Clarissa Oakes".. same books.

I can NOT stress enough how helpful "A Sea of Words" was for me. Saved my ass.

And "Lobscouse and Spotted Dog" is just funny as hell. :)

Plus, really, read Sid's recaps. I love them.
