Whole lotta labia.
|[||how ya feelin'?
So.. it's snowing. How much? Well there's three inches on the cows.
Rescheduled the lessons in Philly, made sure Matt wasn't freezing to death in the duck blind, and fretted slightly over Caitlin and her impending drive.
Oh, and my father's 5 year PET scan (he battled and "conquered" throat cancer back in late '99) showed a spot on his lung so the oncologist sent him in for a CAT scan to make sure it wasn't anything they needed to worry about. Results came back yesterday and he's got a clean bill of health. Turns out it was just the last bits of a mild pneumonia he was getting over when he went in for the scan. I hadn't wanted to mention it until I had an answer because I didn't want ... well.. I just didn't. But.. anyway. That's cleared up then.
How are you guys?
How are you guys?
snowy. six inches and still falling hard.
but sid and i saw the worms last night and they were brilliant and funny and wonderful and i wanted to take chris patterson home and eat him alive. <3
Jealous about the Worms!!! That's how I am. What did they sing?
I thought about bugging Sid on the drive up this morning.. just making her return the snow-storm-stupid-driver-cellphone favor. ;)
they did a lot of stuff off the newest album, stuff i wasn't familiar with, but they did "rocks and trees" and "wolfe island ferry" and "we are the beaver" and a great rendition of "the gaelic song" that featured chris playing the pennywhistle with his nose. they did not do "the mountie song" or "canada is really big", both losses that made me weep. sid and i were clearly the biggest fans in the audience, and we kept getting dirty looks from the girls in front of us for laughing so hard. bah.
and much as i've become attached to the idea of showing my affection for cute canadians by biting them, i refused to stand in line just to flirt with chris. i regretted that decision later.
you should have called sid. she was up early watching zombie movies. me, i slept 'til noon. :D
So glad to hear that there wasn't anything on the scan. That woudl truly have sucked.
Apparently, Shawn & Courtney have an inch where they are, so we're heading out soon. We have a hotel room, so we don't have to go back. I may wander away to the hotel bar and spend the evening drinking hot rum drinks. And I have my bathing suit, and my crochet, and am just generally preparing for a nice long stay. I wish I weren't in such a pissy mood about this, but I had my mouth set for a nice, quiet weekend at home, and had talked myself into thinking this evening wouldn't happen.
Yup. We ended up with about 4 inches total, it stopped around 3:00pm. The roads were fine when we went to the bank and grocery store at 4:30. Would you like us to come and kidnap you from the hotel?
Nah, it turned out fine. Jame said you guys might want to swing by this evening and pick up your sewing machine? Give us a call before you head out.
Well, that is good news. I'm glad everything turned out as it should.
melly. i'm trying to pack my room and i'm suddenly totally overwhelmed.
I'm so glad, honey. :)
I am sick but I am high on cold medicine. How are you?
