Whole lotta labia.
I'm at the same terminal I was the last time I wrote from Miami. I love the Admiral's Club. I hate that I have to do this much traveling to earn it. It's quiet here and the air conditioner is drowning out any background sounds.

I'll need to head out in a minute to board but in the mean time I'm just sitting. And that's nice. Although the keyboard here is being a right bitch and I'm having to delete half of what I type.

I managed to get upgraded for the flight to Miami and that was divine. Some decent food, a big chair, I even maanged to get most of the way through my book which means I'll be able to dive into Connie Willis's "Doomsday Book" on the way to Quito.

Y'all, if you don't know Connie Willis, you need to. She's amazing. For some reason they keep putting her under Science Fiction but she's really not. There's sometimes a science fiction conceit to her stories.. but it's just the basis. You accept it and move on. Like.. Doomsday book.. it's like she said "Ok.. let's assume you can travel in time.. but everyone uses it for research and it's controlled by Oxford University... right?" And you nod and say "Right.." and then she tells you this fantastic story.

Just accept the conceit and move on. She's quite phenomenal. And for those of you who don't mind holiday stories, her collection of Christmas short stories is beyond compare.

Connie Willis. I can't say it enough. Doomsday book makes me cry. And she spent 5 years researching it to make sure that everything would be good. *heart* Love her.

Ok. Enough prattling. I board in 20 minutes. I need to finish my free scotch and get out of here. Hugs to you all.
