Regarding Monday: Well. That's over then. Thank fucking God.

Dear Gerard Butler,

I watched "Dear Frankie" last night. I want you to know Mr. Butler, sir, that this does, in fact, make up for "The Phantom of the Opera." It also makes up for all those bits of "Tomb Raider" I sat through waiting for your ass to show up. (And by that I mean the actual assular region of your physique, not some slang reference to the whole of you) However, we here at Melly Enterprises wish to remind you that you are still staggeringly in the hole thanks to "Timeline" and you'd best get crackin' on a remedy for that one.

Thanks,
Melly

I did it! Yesterday I got five miles in! I ran 4.7 in an hour and then walked the last .3 in the next six minutes. Yay! Go me! Today is my short cardio/weights workout and I really quite badly need it. Who knew?

I'm not in the mood to talk about food right now. It's mostly fine. I'm just not in the mood to talk about a lot.

There's other stuff going on. Good stuff. Bad stuff. Stuff in the middle. Mostly I'm just tired. My head hurts, my eyes are dry and itchy, and the client launch I'm supposed to do today is just getting farther and farther behind.

How are you guys?

Except.. when he speaks his own stuff he's fine. Even a bit nummy with the whole Scottish thing. It's when other people make him talk that I just want to gag him, strip him, and put him in a case somewhere.

um.

That was out loud, wasn't it?

*heart*

I have a picture of Gerry. In a kilt. Holding a very big sword. *blinks* I also have a picture of him kissing the hand of his male co-star during a press junket.

Glad to help. It was cute. Sweet. Not quite the feel-good I really needed last night, but lovely nonetheless. Mostly because he kept doing that thing where he purses his lips a bit and I kept getting hot flashes.

5 miles is cool.

I ran 2.2 the other day at the gym. I'll go run more tonight after work.

I signed up for a 5K with the "company team." This will be the first one. It's in 3 weeks. I guess I can probably teach myself to run that far in 3 weeks.

Oh, then later that day, I get to go help someone move.

Any advice?

Dear Frankie was in theatres here for about 10 minutes, so I have it on the list at Zip. Glad to see you liked it!

OMG am I ever glad Monday is over. Except today feels like one as well. Normally I like Tuesdays (what's not to like? I was born on one), but this week not so much.

how else can i justify adding this movie to our netflix list without using the word "butt"? i *think* i might get away by saying "it has Gerard Butler in it... you know... from Timeline." but i fear it'd be a bit transparent at best.

o, happy day! scratch that!

not only does "Scotland" appear in the movie description, but the damn thing is already on our list! i must have added it awhile back. now to move it up into higher rotation... ;)
