Whole lotta labia.
[how ya feelin'? |rejuvenatedrejuvenated]

Conversation this weekend:

ST: I tell my military-bound students to stick with the Air Force and to try to stay away from the Marines and Army.

Geofki: But you know what, the Navy is the most technical branch out there. That's worth investigating if they can, just for post-military future planning.

wizardglick: Yeah, but doesn't the Air Force have Stargate Command?

Melly: o.O

Camping was lovely, drive home was grand, dinner with Sid and ST was faboo. I managed, after much wrangling, to get a bunch of the car cleaned out and a bunch of my life in order. This? Rocks. I plowed through all of the available SG:A and now am thinking fic.

Tell me, ladies and gentlemen, where on Earth is it possible to get all of Coupling for less than seventy-five freaking dollars? Sheesh.

Glad you had fun, and really glad you got some things done that make you feel accomplished and will help make life easier. That is always- as someone on LJ taught me to say- pebble. (Way better than rockin'.)

Coupling is one of my favorite series ever. It is yet another reason that I am sad my local Suncoast video store just closed, since I have $60 in Suncoast bucks to use and would snap up the complete set in a moment if I could use my dollars on it. If there's a Suncoast or Media Play chain near you, joining their clus is a good way to get money back for what you might already spend. We buy stuff on sale during bonus weeks, and I think every year, we've earned at least $150 in Suncoast bucks to spend on other items.

Barring that, you could always put it on your wishlist...

Oh, that was me, and I thought I was logged in!

That clus should have read club, btw, like the one I'm going to smack my spelling brain with if it doesn't start minding what I type with more regularity. ;)

I think that was actually one of John-O's lines (he had a couple good ones, IIR).

My favorite line that I got in was:

Person around fire: I've decided for every holiday, I'm going to clelebrate by holding a pork barbeque! Every holiday!

Me: That's gonna make Purim kind of akward.

go you! Not only do you make the great kosher reference, but you do it with one of the more obscure Jewish holidays. That's why I love you!!!

It's better to make a less-common, but still reckognizable choice in situations like this. It's a little bit more unexpected, therefore funnier. Humor theory. :-)
