Whole lotta labia.
[how ya feelin'? |productiveproductive]

Incredibly productive weekend. Plus? Lots of sleeping. Including a couple of really superb naps yesterday afternoon.

The lovely cussata and lalartu let us invade their incredibly gorgeous house, drool on their History Channel International, and practically fellate their high speed wireless. *happiness* ST drove his little ass off running back and forth to Morgantown on Monday but we were able to enjoy the fireworks on Saturday night, get some good quality sleeping in, stock up on hugs, and put our mad cooking skilz to work in a dream kitchen. Plus? We got stuff done (other than practicing my pole moves in the basement).

ST got some taping and padding done as well as tons of work on his arrows and his shield edging. I got most of ST's new surcoats cut out and my white linen underdress cut out as well. I'll get those finished cutting tonight and be able to start sewing them on Thursday with Cait. My goal is to get one of them at least to the hand work stage so that I can do button holes and interior hems while I'm at the event this coming weekend.

In addition? I got 53 of the 65 invites set up with their colored backing so that I can now just put the invite panel on them and the inserts in. And thanks to the incredible work of wilfulcait and make_your_move all of the envelopes are now addressed. At least all those for whom I have addresses. Yay! And they are GORGEOUS. The paper is lovely and soft and creamy and the writing is so lovely and.. I know it's dorky but this makes me so happy. Plus I found someone else getting rid of candles for cheap. Yay!

Last but not least? I finished my veil. I love it. Did I wear it around the house? Yes. Did I try it on with my headpiece when I got home? Yes. Do I feel bad about that? No. Sod off. It's mine and I love it. It's really full so it's a little poofier than I might like right at the comb. I think some steaming might take care of that.. at least partially.

Friday night I went to the chair/floor class and beginner pole class again. I wasn't quite as sore the next few days but my shoulders are clearly letting me know what they think of all this nonsense. However, I packed my lovely shoes and I'm off to class again tonight. It's big fun. :)

It's time to put together my to-do and to-make and to-buy lists for Pennsic. It's sneaking up fast and I leave in exactly a month. Woot! I've been so busy lately it really snuck up on me. I've lost track of what chores need to be done, when I last waxed my legs, and the fact that my paid account expired last week. I got all the emails, I meant to take care of it, but sure enough last week I was all "Where are my icons?" Hi, I'm very smart.

In other news, I'll stop being quite so self-centered soon, I promise. I'm just so tired and I'm keeping awake by thinking about stuff I have to do and that can look a trifle solipsistic from the outside, I know. Think happy thoughts for ST today, he's hitting the job hunt hard today.

job hunt mojo to ST!

Melly? You made me go look up a word. It has been many and many a month since I had to go look up a word in an LJ entry.

*gives you gold star*

It was "solipsistic." I never quite got the hang of all those philosophical -isms, so I have to go look them up every time I see one. I yam S-M-R-T!

Ronnies! I miss you like very much. Also? I spent most of yesterday watching season two of Bridezillas and feeling much better about myself.

I have known some Bridezillas, and you, mademoiselle, are no Bridezilla.

Melly? Will there ever be a time when life will slow down enough that I can actually feel like I'm living and not just existing and keeping my head above water? I want to know.

Also? I miss you like very much, too! It must be a sign.

Pole dancing aerobics. If I haven't said so before, I just think that's cool!
