Whole lotta labia.
Wildly productive weekend. WILDLY.

Friday night ST and I ducked up to L'burg to meet cussata and lalartu for dinner. We did dangerously good things with spinach salad and then there were squash from C-'s very own garden. Good squash, C-! We mocked and poked at the production stills from the newest Beowulf movie and I bemoaned the state of Gerry Butler's acting career (such as it is) before hitting the road at around 11.

Saturday involved some snuggling, some sewing, and lunch with my mother and brother to celebrate World's Cutest Mommy's birthday. She's old. Very old. Nearly ancient. Well.. ok.. not so ancient. We gave her a couple of actual non-joke gifts and then a birdfeeder that spins around to throw off squirrels. To accent the feeder we also gave her a boonie hat, camo face paint (in a compact, of course), and a bb gun. She took to it like a duck to water. Scared the crap outta me. She says "What do I do with it now?" and ST says "Well, it's loaded, so first you stop pointing it at people."

I got the rest of his buttons on his surcoat, got the hem finished, now I need to finish hand-stitching the buttonholes and do the sleeve buttons and I'm done. I've got other projects still, but I'm working on those.

We stopped on the way home to see wilfulcait and bring offerings of hugs and coats and fast food. We suckered her into watching Alton Brown's new show on the BIIIIIG tv and then kissed her on her wee gorgeous head and headed home.

Sunday ST left quite early to do armor and fighting and other boy things and I started sewing. First I kicked the A/C on high, then I put in what was left of Lala's stash of Entourage (followed by the beginnings of Veronica Mars.. and omg how much do I *love* that show?) and then I sewed like the wind. From start to finish I made two dresses, two tunics, a skirt, and a viking apron dress. I also got the gores finished on ST's black surcoat and did some of my clothes packing for war. We did dinner with some friends and then had a good snuggling session before sleeping like the dead.

I'm back at work today and wishing I knew what I'd done to my left knee but looking forward to an evening of packing and loading the car and figuring out what to do on the sewing projects. It's going to be a busy week, but I like them that way.

Cait, email me about Thursday.. I have An Issue.

Don't either have a wee head. Bald, but not wee. Big and full of brain.

Hehehe. I saw the cut and I went 'WOT. OMG. I HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN YOU IN TWO WEEKS. WOT DID I DO? How can I be a bad influence when I'm not even around? o.O'

What do I still owe you? Did you finish up through Season 2 of Entourage? I have the beginnings of Season 3, if you want it. Didn't I owe you more of V. Mars? If you let me know what, I can bring you the rest tomorrow.

Also? I love you and your productivity! And your mommy is the cutest ever.

Such a bad influence. :)

I finished S2 of Entourage and I'm halfway through the first season of V. Mars. I've got through Ep 201 so if you've got more I'd LOVE it... I've got a five hour drive up to Pennsic on Friday and I'd love Miss V to keep me company.

Heh - I've started watching this BBC series called Hex. I love it for the Lesbian Ghost. It's in it's fledgeling season, but it's a bit buffy, but with a british accent. Fabu!

Also, Tim somehow started watching Dead Like Me. I could hear him giggling like a girl in the other room. I remember you telling me about that so, thought I'd share.

*kisses* looking SO forward to seeing you theeees friday!

Hex is fabulous, and I love it madly, having seen four episodes. Sadly, it was cancelled after two seasons, with a total of 18 episodes (S1=5, S2=13).

You must have seen the same 4 I have. I have BBC on demand, so that's whats available. Tim found them if you can believe it and they just sucked me in! Now I'm going to have to try and hunt this down.
