Whole lotta labia.
|[||how ya feelin'?
I just got mail from the Jr. High best friend who thinks we're still uber-close. It was going to be a logistical issue getting her to and from the wedding anyway and she and her husband just decided that they can't justify spending the money when they're due to be closing on their house in mid-November. I totally understand, and to be honest it's a load off my mind, but I'm still a little disappointed.
ST's mother has followed up regarding the random family children and neither of them is coming. This is good and bad.. it means I'm down one college junior who wasn't really interested in coming anyway but I'm also down one seriously cute little girl. On the upside she's going to be spending that weekend rehearsing for her role as a snowflake in The Nutcracker. Good for her!
The upside of all of this is that I'm now able to put everyone who is coming on the main floor rather than having to have a table in the loft. It would have been fun for the girlies stuck up there (yay, treehouse!) but it would have totally robbed us of the storage area and we'd have had to wedge those extra 100 chairs somewhere else. So.. No LJ Treehouse, but no piles of unused chairs either.
We had our second dance lesson last night and we danced to the entire song twice. We practiced all of our fun twirls and stuff and she promised that next time we'll be working on our final moves. ST indicated the desire for a dip. Missy promised to give us The Dip Lecture. Apparently the general gist is "Don't kiss her in the dip" and the primary reasoning is that the woman spends the entire time with her "Oh Shit!" face on. I *love* my dance instructor.
ST continues to be a confident and fun dance partner.. we're stuck on one particular move that's easy for me (because he's a good leader and I just have to pick up my feet and go where he leads) but really hard for him because he's got his weight very well centered and it's not an intuitive move. So.. practice practice practice on the deck and in the living room.
And that's what I've got. I slacked on the B&H all last week and fellated a salt lick yesterday so I'm back to square one today. Lots of water, lots of healthy eating. Lots of fruit and veggies. Work is way over my head but I'm catching up. I am, actually, going to NYC to visit a client next week and I'll be there overnight on Tuesday. It'll be a nice break from the daily grind but I'll miss my routine.
Oh, and I go pick up the big poofy dress on Friday. Keep your fingers crossed, I think I'm the only woman I know who needed her gown lengthened instead of shortened, I'm hoping the seamstress can pull it off.
