Whole lotta labia.
So all of my content changes have been made for work. They're being QA'ed by another member of the team here and then we're going to meet to go over the errors she found. This is both good and bad. It helps to have the feedback but it's kind of embarrassing to be thought of like the junior member of the team. Oh well. On the up side, I've found two bugs in the program since I've been here. So that's good.|
I finished clipping threads on the Summer Coins quilt last night. It's not so horrific if you're in front of the TV with a good conversational partner. And that's saying something, because I loathe cutting threads. I've got several places where I'll need to go redo a line of stitching just because I was still working on keeping the speed consistent and some of the really big loose stitches needed to be pulled out. I can do that tonight or tomorrow morning. I'm going to bind it in an orange but I have to wait for that to come in.
In the mean time there's finishing the green bag, finishing the pink/purple/yellow bag (which isn't getting quilted but is getting lined), finishing the hand stitching on the orange pillowcase, working on C-'s border, and figuring out what the hell pattern I'm going to use on Gen's tablerunner. So, not pressed for work.
I did a quick measurement check and the green Delft Remix charms are the perfect size for the circle quilt. I think I'm going to do that as my next big project. I want terribly to get the Strawberry Parfait quilted but I'm determined to wait until my skills are more up to it.
In the spirit of "It turns out the secret is patience, persistence, and practice. Not fucking fairydust," I scanned in some quilting pages and I'm going to print some more off the internet. I got clear page sleeves and a dry-erase marker. I'm going to actually practice. I know, horror.
And on that note. Damn, I'm really tired.
